Our connection to the local community is increasingly important and we work closely with our neighbors to create opportunities together.
Facebook Academy
Class of 2016
  • Valuable experience in various departments and overall have the opportunity to learn about the day-to-day operations of one of the world’s leading social media networks by being part of a dynamic workforce.
  • Applicants must be sophomores in high school during the 2016-2017 academic school year and full-year residents of East Palo Alto, Belle Haven, Redwood City, or San Francisco.

Local Community Fund
  • Grants of up to $5,000 are available for non-profit programs serving the Belle Haven and East Palo Alto communities.
  • All organizations that meet the following criteria are welcome to apply:
    • 501(c)(3) non-profits with a history of proven success in providing services to the Belle Haven community.
    • 501(c)(3) non-profits with a history of measurable success providing services to the East Palo Alto community. Programs that emphasize enrichment and STEM that serve older youth are strongly urged to apply.
